Dream Theater show in Beijing reluctantly canceled

Due to circumstances beyond the control of Dream Theater we are forced to cancel the show on May 4, 2012, at the Century Theatre.

Unfortunately the local organizers of the show were not able to secure the necessary working visas in time for the Band to properly enter the country.

We at Dream Theater are truly sorry for any inconveniences.

Jordan's Korg Clinic Appearances

Jordan will be appearing at a selection of Korg clinics at Guitar Center stores in New York and Massachusetts:

Monday, March 12 - 14th Street, NYC
Wednesday, March 14 - Ridge Hill, NY
Monday, March 19 - Boston, MA
Wednesday, March 21 - North Attleboro, MA

These will be performance based clinics focused on his use of the Korg Kronos.

Dream Theater�s December 9 show in Guadalajara, Mexico has unfortunately been cancelled for logistical reasons that are beyond the control of the band and the promoter. All tickets will be refunded. Dream Theater regrets this inconvenience to fans who�ve already purchased tickets and thanks them for their understanding.

Grammy Nominations and App Award wins!

It's a great time for Dream Theater and Jordan Rudess right now on the backs of some great news.

It was announced in recent days that Dream Theater have scored their first Grammy Award Nomination for On The Backs Of Angels in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance category!

Jordan heard about the nomination on the phone from guitarist John Petrucci. Noise Creep were there when he was told about it, read more here.

In other awesome news, Samplewiz has won the Music Radar's MIA Award for Best Music Making App of the Year 2011!
