How to create a wah lead (Kurzweil K2000) ???

Hi there!

I´ve got a Kurzweil K2000, I´m new in synth scene and i´d like to create a wah lead controlled by a volume-contiuous pedal (a MIDI one, I mean). I know that it´s necessary to apply a LFO, a FUN or any other of the functions of the K2000, but i´m kinda lost in all the bunch of options. Would you please help me creating the wah effect? Thanks!

actually making a wah effect with a pedal does not involve the lfo unless you want an auto-wah effect. you just need to assign the filter to the pedal.
im not an expert in the field so. maybe someone can go deeper in the subject??

you can use Steep Resonant Bass filter on a layer and a resonand Lowpass or a bandpass on another.

Thanks a lot! I really don´t know anything about filters and all this things, I´m really NEW in the scene. But anyway, I´ll try to mess around a little bit with my K2000

Sure, I am working on a few patches at the moment, which I will of course post on ProgSounds:)
