iPad 1 or 2 for WorphWiz?

I have MorphWiz for the iPhone, and I really want to perform with it live.... but the iPhone just doesn't give enough screen space.

I'm going to buy an iPad just for MorphWiz (and maybe a bit of SampleWiz), but I'm wondering if it matters whether I buy a brand new iPad 2, or a much cheaper iPad 1. Are there any limitations to the iPad 1 that will affect MorphWiz? For example, the iPad 1 doesn't have a gyroscope - does tilting the iPad still work with MorphWiz?

Would really appreciate some input here - thanks!

I'm using it on iPad 1, no issue at all. Same for SampleWIz
