Simply buying it won't, but practicing what's in there will :)
Speed is a state of mind and repetition, not just "going faster" :-)

I have it, I've only just now started using it though.
I can't give you a really detailed evaluation of the whole book, though, since I'm a beginner on piano, and a beginner through the book. There are some VERY helpful exercises though!
