Attach patch question on Liquid Lead
Progsounds have an amazing Liquid Lead, but something is missing
If you listen to Jordan earliest albums with DT and LTE, His Lead has a much stronger Attach Patch(Then the Progsounds.com Lead has)
A kind of fast"Thack" sound, It's something with the legato settings,
when he stops playing legato the patch activates.
Kindred Spirits (5.21-6.29)
Best if you have Jroc.us Account, so you can hear it from the riff section.
Impossible to hear it on the original.
Anyone knows how to make this attach patch? :)

It actually depends on what keyboard you use. For instance, I have made this lead on the Kurzweil PC3x and the "attach patch" is made, I think, by assigning aftertouch in a way that it does a flickering (dunno if its the right word ). I didnt really achieve it on my board but it is kinda similar. The thing is, this lead was originally created on the K2600 or K2500 which uses KDFX as you might know. So i cant really help you much on this issue, maybe another member will manage to help you.

It's not KDFX or aftertouch.
It's from the Contemporary ROM and it's one of the guitar waveforms. It actually has that attacky sound you're talking about :)
It's not "specific" to the 25/2600, though that's where you're most likely to find it. I don't know about the PC3 series or the newer Kurzweil board, and I don't recall off hand what number of waveform it is, but there's a "skinny lead" in the 800's bank in the 2500 with the Contemp rom installed that makes interesting use of that attack.
Hope this helps!

K, I'll make it on the Oasys I gues, so i'll just use a guitar sample,
Settings:
Aftertouch->+amplevel, ampEG->short time,
Effects: Delay and overdrive ?

On Kurzweil this attack sound is a guitar sample that is triggered by a specified velocity value and works in legato (similar way an hammond percussion click works).
Check out my sounds for Omnisphere on Audiority as well new Space4Keys demo videos for Omnisphere Collection. You could notice that this attack is there ;)
Cheers,
Luca
