Here's my list...
When Dream and Day Unite:
Ytse Jam
Only A Matter of Time
Another Hand: The Killing Hand
Images and Words:
Under a Glass Moon
Take the Time
Awake:
Erotomania
Lie
Voices
Innocence Faded
A CHANGE OF SEASONS ** (though that can technically be a book by itself)
Falling Into Infinity:
Peruvian Skies
Lines in the Sand
Trial of Tears
Scenes From A Memory
Home
Dance of Eternity
Finally Free
Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence
Glass Prison
Blind Faith
About to Crash (reprise)/Grand Finale
Train of Thought
In The Name of God
Octavarium
Root of All Evil
Panic Attack
Never Enough
Sacrificed Sons***
Now, obviously this all can't fit in a single book...I think they should definitely do what they have been doing with Petrucci's material, and doing a book per album, because that would be just pretty sweet - imagine having the keyboard parts to each album, instead of just a few selections...though, this is a HUGE task and I don't expect anyone to do that...
Obviously I think that A Change of Seasons and Octavarium should be in this next anthology should they make one, but because of the lenght and complexity of the songs, they should either be something separate, or the two of them put into one book by themselves...
As for the actual second book, this is a much more ...realistic list (the ones aboves were ones I'd love to see in one book if there was no limit to paper and a perfect world...)
YtseJam
Take the Time
Under A Glass Moon
Erotomania
Voices
Lie
Strange Deja Vu
Dance of Eternity
One Last Time
Glass Prison
Blind Faith (excerpts - the triple keyboard solo, even though available at JRoc.us would be nice to have in the book, but not necessary seeing as its already available)
About to Crash (Reprise) --> especially the ending leading to Grand Finale
In the Name of God
Never Enough
Panic Attack
Sacrificed Sons
Octavarium (excerpts)
I think that's a much more realistic list...a lot of this is already available in the full band transcription but I've already seen SO many mistakes with UAGM, DoE, Erotomania, etc..
I really hope they do a second book, that'd be amazing!
