Hi!!!
I don´t know why, but it wasnt until the recent past that I realized that on the Moog webpage, on the products section, it doesnt appear the moog modular. For some reason I was expecting to see a section to build up your own modular moog syntyh, for example as in synthesizers.com.
I dont know since when they don't work with this synth type anymore, but is hard for me to understand, someone here knows why?
So what other options for modular synths appear to be good choices?
Thanks!!
Andrés

Moog hasn't made modular synths since the late 70s. I would be very surprised if they ever do again - I don't think the company is big enough, or stable enough, to support the manufacture of the large number of different modules needed for a successful modular business.
At any rate, if you're genuinely interested in Moog-style modular systems, look into Synthesizers.com. Their modules are based on Moog's electronic and physical design, are very well made and supported, and have a great time-payment plan that makes assembling a modular system affordable for almost anyone.

One more thing - can someone tell me once and for all: is Moog Little Phatty a good, vintage sounding analog synth, or if you are looking for vintage sound, then you should look somewhere else?

I think the Little Phatty sounds great. It definitely has a true Moog sound (though only 2 osc I think). The UI is pretty intuitive once you get used to it, also. The only thing I can't stand is the keybed. It feels cheaper and lighter than my old M-Audio Oxygen8.

Hey thanks for clearing the doubt!
I was wondering the same about the LP, Im looking for my first real analog synth and because of the brand and price the LP appears as my first option. Ill see what happens.

What I don't like about LP, is the lack of controls - I mean, it's a Moog synth, it supposed to a knob/fader for each parameter! And LP has this assignable knobs...
