I need some help! (Problem with effects)!

:frown: I have a problem with my new "old K2000" I just bought! I found out that the effects (I think), aren't working. For exemple, when I take a lead sound like the Modular Lead, and I press EDIT and in the effect page, I have, at the top, the preset effect, and on the bottom, 3 lines (the wet/dry mix and 2 other parameter you can choose to shape the effect) and, if I change the preset effect, there is no difference in the sound. Also, if I put a parameter (like reverb L) and put the "adjust" value to 127, there is no reverb in the sound!!!

I really don't understand, is it only a master preset I need to change??? What can I do???

ok well I don't have a kurz, but are you sure that the FX are ON? are you sure that the signal even goes through them=?

Ok, they all say source=off and depth=0. So there's your problem right there. You need a source, and you need depth. Unless that's just for modulation/control parameters and not the effect itself (ie "source" might be the mod wheel and depth might be 62 or something). But if the choices for source have something to do with the different "elements" (or whatever Kurz's particular name for them is) in the sound, then you need to select an appropriate source(s) and give it some depth to hear any "effect".

Ok thanks to everybody but I solved my problem!!! I needed to take out, after a hard reset, the batteries under the keyboard and, after 1 day, restarted it. It did a new hard reset, and now, all the effects are working!!!
