The zendrum is way cooler than the "drumitar".

The drumitar is really just a Synthe Axe (as played by Allan Holdsworth, etc...).

I like that you can also assign notes to each of those pads - if you were clever about it, you could probably assign a series of notes that are always melodically related, then you can just spazz out and play what you want, with it still sounding pretty damn good :P
