Okay, so I got a K2600XS, and it's brand new, about a month old. The only thing connected to it are headphones and the only thing I've touched inside was adding the orchestral and contemporary sound blocks to my keyboard.

I haven't played it in about a week or two, and just yesterday when I tried to load a floppy disk with some sounds on it (floppy disk JUST bought from the store), it didnt work...actually the screen stayed on "Please wait..." from DISK mode for about three hours, and then I restarted it, and the same thing hapenned again...I tried this with all the disks I bought and older ones...nothing worked.

Any suggestions? It WONT load anything through floppy, just stays frozen on "Please wait..."

sometimes during shipping the floppy drive cable becomes loose, and this will affect the performance in the disk drive - If you're comfortable opening her up, try that. If not, then you have to send it back or send it to a repair place to have it looked at. :)

*It's possible it actually COULD be the drive, however quite unlikely. Now that I have my zip drive, I don't use my floppy anymore :)*
