Lol, sorry, but I don't think you know what MIDI is.

Musical Instrument Digital Interface is a standard digital language, which allows 2 or more music devices (which support MIDI, of course) to communicate with each other...

There is no way you can connect a Midi output to an analog audio input... you just won't get any signal (though, it is possible that you get some kind of noise, but I haven't tried it).
And there is no device that will allow you to do so... (unless you connect your midi to a synth module, and audio outs of the module to audio ins of the amp).
You see - MIDI does not contain the information about waveforms etc. It does contain the performance details, but not the sound characteristics.

And what's wrong with regular analog output?

my keyboard doesn't have a regular audio output, it is primarily a usb midi controller. I've considered sound modules and synth modules, but my budget isreally less than a hundred quid, so if you know of any for that little, could you send me a link, or the manufacturer and model name?

If it doesn't have audio outputs, it means it can't produce its own sounds.
You will have to buy some kind of a synth module/software.

Hmmm - a very cheap module... I don't know any.

Try some software with plug-ins - there are plenty of free ware synths around.

Not neccesarily. Lots of cheaper keyboards that do make their own sounds do not sport audio outs, other than a headphone out. You can get a 1/4" TRS - 2 1/4" TS adapter and use your headphone out to connect to your amp if thats the case.

Headphone out is also an audio out, and he said it doesn't have any
