Hi!
Has anyone already purchased or tried the new Korg Triton Extreme?
Possibly the 88-key version? What's it like? Does it have real decent sounds? A good hammer action? A way to put your sounds in order like on Kurzweil? Thanks! :)

I have the 76 so I can't answer questions about the 88.
I have posted about the sounds on TritonHaven
( Extreme Section) and on FantomizedInfo(other gear)
The Extreme has so many very good sounds and combis , it takes several hours to appreciate them. Korg was clever to load many of the EXB waves into the Extreme which makes for a smart buy.
Another thing to remember is that , out of the box, the Extreme has many Trance/Dance type rhythm combis.
But it also has very good Orchestra and World sounds. So you can develop your favorite musical personality on the Extreme. For example, I am adding
several of my favorite " Vintage Keyboard " combis
into the Extreme.
I think the Extreme is very close to the " I want to have it all keyboard". For Triton Studio owners who already own most of the EXB's , I can see it makes little sense to change.
But to say its no big deal, just another Triton , tells me someone just spent 15 minutes with it.
Or if that person doesn't care for Korg sounds, the Extreme may not change that opinion. You know how subjective it is about keyboards
