Hi
I just got the Contemporary and the orchestral ROM blocks for my K2600XS. I installed the cards, and was ready to install the object files. But I got this message when I was going to install the Orchestral Object files: "Error! The file is too big!"

Here's what I did:
1. Installed the cards
2. Installed the newest K2600 object files
3. Installed the object files of the Contemporary ROM block
4. Installed the object files of the Orchestral ROM block

Then I got this message. When I started my Kurzweil all the programs where there but some of them sounded strange, like a crunching sound when playing them.

Thanks for all your answers!

The crunching sound can mean two things.

It can be because of the fact that the files weren't loaded in completely or you have to re-seat the ROMS in their proper place.

Normally you will get the warning if you try to load in bigger files then the Flashrom would allow.

Check the files and see if you aren't loading in too many (maybe an extra ROM files for a block you haven't installed)
Maybe you are trying to load in the wrong basic rom file (maybe Best of Vast or something like that)

The object files are the ones on the floppy disk included with the cards, so I don't think there too many files.

Edit: I solved it. The Best of Vast contained both the Contemp. and Orchestral object files.
