Just thought I'd post this little song I did whilst being stuck at home ill. I wanted to make a song which had keyboard and guitar solo's but also have a melody of some sorts, hope you like. You may recognise some samples from my favourite movie trilogy.... :)

Very good work.
The guitar part look like Steve Vai sound.
But I don't like very well the choice of the sample.

Thanks X-Dark, The guitar leads were Amplitube yet again, I use that plugin so much.. I chose those samples because I thought they were cool quotes from the Matrix films which I have been watching a lot recently, and this song is sort of inspired by those films, a sort of action seqence score...

That's excellent, Axe! I like it alot...and the drums don't sound half bad either, for what I assume is a drum machine.
Awesome guitar and keyboard work. I have a feeling I'll be listening to this alot!

Thanks Red..., The drums are o.k, it was a drum kit I used in Kontakt. I programmed the drums in logic but I reckon I need to practice getting good drum tracks down, maybe need to get a book or something on drum programming, so if anybody recommends any that would be good.
Thanks again dude... :)

what the hell were you thinking about using c minor in the 34th bar
Eb major would have been far more suitanle

Damn right bro...it was A minor. :)
I'm not gonna encourage him by saying anything other than if he thought it was crap then fair play to that. I'm happy whatever anybody thinks of my music, I'm not in a band or have music buddies that are into the same stuff as me, this place and the JP forum are my only means of getting valued opinions of what I do musically and for that I am grateful... :D

Nice playing
The use of the samples at the start and end sort of reminds me of The great debate, I really like it when something like that fits ... good job :)

Thanks Kreator (Nice to see another Brit..)
Sample clips are cool, especially if you can get some clips which can make up a theme or story, my ones were from the matrix films and I just liked the sound of'em, shame they did'nt link up. There's plenty of resources on the web for downloading clips from movies, tv etc. That's how I get mine, but you need a sound editor like sound forge for changing bit rate and resample them into whatever sample rate your recording are. Adds a nice dimension to your song.....
Justin... :)
