Hello everyone!

I’m about to purchase a SP-88 and was wondering if there is a standard regarding the 88 note controller key sizes, length and width.
If we could merge some of the Yamaha’s Korg’s and Kurzweil 88 note keybeds would we see any discrepancies between them? And if so, what would be the closest to a Steinway or a Grand Yamaha….?

Thanks folks!

Actually, I don't think they do. I have small hands, and I've played on lots of 88-key keyboards and pianos, and i definately have problems playing a 9-chord on some. I can't remember which ones though, because I never really thought that information would come in handy elsewhere.

I would think width is the same but not key shape in general. I have yet to find a key bed where I cant span +1
