This sounds an awful lot like the "hidden messages" in Beatles albums when played backwards. I'm skeptical of this discovery.

I'm skeptical too, but not completely - it's well known that da Vinci was a tricky guy who enjoyed puzzles, and did encode secret messages and formulas in his work. So I don't think it's completely ridiculous.
