HELP: options from K2500XS to K2500RS

Hi, I have a small problem:

I have a fully loaded K2500XS and programed most of my sounds for gigs with it. Some months ago I got a K2500 rack for easier transport and change most of the programs to use it live instead of the K2500XS. I had to change the sounds and sample some sounds, because the rack haas only Sampling Option installed.

Now I realized that there are a few very cool sounds that need KDFX - is it possible to take out the KDFX from the keyboard and put it into the rack??

BTW: could I change some other options like the ROM-boards too? Of course I can change the RAM, but what about the rest?

Hi,

The ROMS will fit in your rack and also the KDFX will fit.
However I suggest you better call Rolf Lewe at Kurzweil Service.
He's a genius and he won't make any mistake.
It will cost you about EUR 80 I guess but then you're safe.

Good to hear - I'll phone him tomorroy. And 80 Euro are okay... since today I had to pay 260 Euro to get a second key for my car (problems in the electronics) :?
