Problem in k2500...

how can I control the KB3 section of the k2500 module vía my korg Karma, since I can't seem to do it right....

Perhaps you mean the faders and switches for KB3-mode? Each one is assigned to an own midi controller which has to be sent by your karma...

its really weird cause I can't seem to be able to control the drum channels right with my setup... the normal pathes go just fine... but kb3 and drum chanels dontt

Are you running KB3 mode on channel 1?

Actually I was , but now its on channel 9...

In the 2500, the "drum" program channels as well as KB3 programs only work on channels 1-7 and and the 8'th dedicated drum channel. So, your KB3 mode isn't going to work period unless on channels 1-7

You can use KB3 on ch 1 thru 16 but you can only use 8 midi channels as DrumChannels on a K2500 1-8 (Any of 16 on the K2600)
Since you'll need those DrumChannels you should limit setting it to 1 thru 8

DrumChan :9 will play KB3 on Midi ch 9 but you won't get the DrumChannels predictably.
(I just use Ch 1 for my setting for simplicity)

750-769 KB3 programs use a special modeling synthesis engine which are designed to be designated to one midi channel (Default assigned to 1)

Master Mode
K2600
KB3Chan :1

K2500
DrumChan :1

If you select a KB3 program and it's in parenthesis you can't play the KB3, the display will remind you the correct ch #

KB3 Chan is Ch 1
or
DrumChan is Ch 1

It will respond to CC commands.
