this guy is awesome!
i loved the smoke machine effects!
hey jordan, do you ever listen to electronic/house music? this video reminded me that i've been wondering that a lot lately, and me and some friends thought you'd really kick some ass if you dipped into that scene for a time.
theres this DJ/Producer i really like named Sasha. you should check him out! see an album named "Involver", "Fundacion" or "Airdrawndagger" are very nice too. he pays very close attention to detail composition and production-wise, and he has quite a few cool synth stuff going on amidst some decent "house/dance" music.
EDIT: this guy in the video seems to switch sounds fairly seamlessly. anybody know if the v-synth has a gap between switching sounds or not??

who's deifying it?
it seems that all of the comments just say that it is pretty good and impressive and entertaining. The guy seemed to create some complex compositions and integrated synthesizer sound to make a very diverse production happen. I personally found it refreshing that someone is doing this and making videos for it instead of all the "hay look at the new DT solo i learned" videos I see. i also liked how enthusiastic he was about the playing. the video effects, although a bit cheesey, kinda showed how much fun this guy is having with his keyboard, and it made it fun(ny) to watch at times. it's cool that he actually put time into it to make it a fun experience sonically and visually.
isn't it possible that the posters actually have developed their own opinions towards it?

i'm not bashing you. calm down. it just seems that people are biased because "He" thinks it's excellent, and automatically assume it must be so. Other threads with links are, if you could imagine, even better. Yet people arent so enthusiastic there...
my point is, there are a lot of this kind of videos around, and i've seen a few "excellent" ones, and this isn't close. it's interesting, but not "holy shit, i gotta learn that".
and your speech there is leaning a lot towards the instrument being great, not the guy himself. and so, the question is, should the thread be about the instrument or the performer?
but really, it's decent. calm down.

That is sick, JR! LOL!
Anyway, I'm just a newcomer here and I'd like to spread the keyboard word and I've been influenced by your keyboard techniques. I'm from the Philippines and your avid fan. In fact I'm one of the few who idolize you. I guess only .05% of Filipinos can appreciate your music.
