Congrats on the new setup !
I have a JD-800 in my rig.
Getting ready to replace the keys. Several were "wobbly" so I'm gonna just go for the whole unit. Roland will sell it to me for around 400.00 USD.
Cheers ! :D

Oh I see, getting your little brother to create your video clips then ?, I saw Morten's name on the vid clip. Sorry Ulrik....
and when you get your Electro, you'll have to post a pic and a clip with some nice Rhodes Jazz piano... 8)

Oh, that's the reason...
The thing is - my little brother has a FireWire Card in his computer (and I don't), so I transfer the clips from the videocam to his computer, and then transfer the clip to my computer, so that's why it says Morten Lyngs as the author on the clips.. :)

Man, I miss my JD-800. I used one about 10 years
ago in my setup with Michael Angelo.
I'm sorry I got rid of it.

They still pop up on ebay quite a bit ! That's where I got mine. Paid around 500 bucks...not bad considering what they retailed for new, years ago. (Now I just have to replace the loose keys)

I'm gonna fly to Ottawa, Canada in August - I have two uncles there and they'll grant me a work there for a month - a month and a half. I'll see how much I can get - I hope enough to reach the quota I need for a JD800.
Ok, I might be OT now, but my actual gear is Triton Le 76 and Alesis QS 6.1, I have to give my mixer back to the school and I need to improve my overall sounds.
My wishlist:
-a small mixer to be routed to the Audiophile sound card (how much will it cost, 200$?).
[-better synth sounds.]
[-a good piano patch, a good organ patch to be used live.]
-To sum up, I want to sound like Kev on I&W, but with newer sounds. That's why I thought of JD800...
Now, what should I do? Sell my Triton Le 76? I can't sell the Alesis here because it has both american power supply & converter and an annoying crumbled edge I fixed with some black-painted wood...
Uh damn, I'll see in the next few months...but I need some better sounds for sure.
Deceit.
