Sampling Question

I am wondering if someone can help me out with a (hopefully) simple sampling question. The SampleTank SE software that is a pack-in with Pro Tools LE supposedly supports Akai S1000 and S3000 formats. My question is will the Spectrasonics libraries (such as the Distorted Reality and Liquid Grooves libraries) work with SampleTank? I am confused because the Spectrasonics website says the formats are Akai/Roland, but I'm not sure what the S1000 or S3000 stand for and if they are compatible. Any help would be much appreciated!

The S1000 and S3000 are actual models of the rack mount Akai Sampler.
