hi guys , I adquired this AWESOME rack last week , and I have been reading the manual , I am very very pleased with the sounds of the rack and its capabilites..
I am currently finding a way to use this toy when playing live without touching the unit... so here are my questions ..
1) I am controling the unit with a korg karma.. and when I press the program up in the karma , the rack also goes a patch up.. this is very uncomfortable if I am thinking of using it live... since I work the songs of my band just presing the pedal to go to the next patch..
a)Is there a way to anul the response to program up from karma in the module??
b)Is there a way to setup a midi message to go program up in the k2500rs?? ( I use a beringer FCB1010 midi pedal)

This are my first questions... prepare for more , since this is harder than what I thought..

PS: My midi chain is
Roland AX-7 --> Korg Karma ---> Beringer FCB1010 ---> Kurzweil K2500rs .

1) You can disable Program Change at the K2500: MIDI > Receive > PrgChng = OFF (as far as I remember).

If I Disable the control change , is it possible to send a program up comand to the K2500rs via another unit ? not karma, but my FCB1010

Yes, because you disable the Program Changes, what you want to do using the pedal is to send DataInc / Dec, so this shouldn't be a problem. I have to look it up what controllers your pedal has to send...
