Hi!
I've posted it on sonikmatter forums too and I give it a try here too...
I'll buy a 2500XS in 1 or 2 weeks and my friend told me that he will paint it anyhow I want (with airbrush). I have a good idea, a deep blue for basis and an underwater theme with sharks and scuba divers plus a sunken New York in the background.
I have all the pictures for it and the basic layering is ready in ps6, but I need a full size rear photo of the k2500xs to know where exactly the logo and the jacks are. It has to be a perfect rear, like the PC3 presentation on the main kurzweil page.
So I ask everybody who owns one, to make a picture of it and send to my email: drbrundle@aim.com.
Thanks in advance. If this project will be succesfull -and why not - I'll make a step by step tutorial for painting a Kurzweil. How to mask the buttons and jacks, what are the important things to mask, how to mask and maybe I could make a template for the 2500xs with external layer file for the text at the buttons and jacks, you have only paint it in ps. Imagine, you paint it in max. a week and in 1-2days at the painter you have a brand new beast full of life and color.
Then we could have a Painting topic with different schemes. Not just simple black and purple Kurz's.
For the greater level of realism, you could make a photo of the different labels -eg.warning and voltage, etc.- and I can include it in the text layer template file.
So I think it's an adventouros project and I appreciate all help and ideas from You.
THX
ps.:I am from Hungary, sorry for my incomplete english
