I'm being offered a Roland RD 300 for $350. It has fully weighted keys and I heard that the acoustic models sounds good.
Anyone have any idea on this board?
Suggestions?

Simple horrible!! Do not buy it, dont let yourself be distracted by the RD-name in it. Its an awful old piece of crap wich i bought and sold immediatly 2 weeks later. The sounds are really bad, and it doesnt sound like a piano at all. More like one of those earyl Yamaha PSR keyboards who call the sound 'Grand Piano 1' and emulate a mono DX7-like electrical pianosound with it. Only then 10x worse. The keyaction is horrible when you try to play fast runs, cause then it simply skips notes that you play. No Rudess-like arpeggios possible on that one.
My opinion: I would leave it, even if you'd just use it as a midi controller. I thought it would have been a great piano since the RD-500 was one, but i was fooled and felt so stupid for buying it without even listening it. The people on review pages on the net give mostly positive comments yes, but they were posted years and years ago.
There is a pluspoint though. It has a nice Rhodes EP...
Maybe it was good back then, like the D50 was, or the DX7, but i'd rather skip.
