what is the patch jordan rudess was using in overture 1928 at unison part 2:39-2:52? i'm using a korg TR if any one can tell me what voices to use to make the sound around similar like his?..

Are you really forced to post the same question 4 times at 4 different places in the same forum ? You won't get more answers...

Anyway, it's a percussive xylophone sound, with a kind of glockenspiel. You may add some bells and some marimba in there too.

Jordan call it "Percussive Attack" It's basically made by some mallets (kalimba, marimba, xylphone etc.) Try experimenting with xylophone, pan flutes, and other percussive sounds. Listen to the intro of learning to live, to get the closest result.

If you're not in the mood for programming, you can go to the Progsounds forum (www.progsounds.com/forum) and see if you can download the patch you're looking for.

It's not a easy sound to program.

I made a Combi for that on my Karma consisting of Mono'Rimba and Monkey Skulls programs. Probably not exact, but a damn good percussive mallet patch.
