Just a bunch of silly question, as soon as they pop I like to clear them out, and this is the first place I always thinf off!
So... passive speakers need a power amp. So the regular TS and XLR cables do this job right?
Is there a maximum for the cable length between the power amp and the speakers without losing power?
What happens if a TS cable is connected to a power amp and then I touch the other end of the cable, is there electricity passing trough that could hurt me?
Silly questions huh?
More to come!!
How come the signal is sent from a passive guitar or bass through the cable all the way to the amp? I guess is something to do with electromagnetics on the pickups right?
Yet one more!!!
Why, if balanced cables are so good to help reduce noise, are there still unbalances cables? I think TRS cables can be used on guitars, bass and keyboards without problems, is that correct?
I will appreciate so much all your answers!!
Take care!
