I met a guy that is interested in my Moog Voyager Electric Blue. He wants to swap his Alesis Andromeda A6 and $500.
Like the show says deal or no deal?? What do you guys think?

Hmm... about the same price range... +500$.
If it's in the good state, I think it's in you advantage... but...
Do you really want to change?
I mean a Moog is a Moog....

and the A6 is a beast... a poly one. The timbre is very different from Moog style, but the sounds you can achive with an A6 will satisfy you for LOOONG time :)
Analog, if you don't need that Moog sound this will be a great deal.

You should of course test it first to see if it's ok.

Thanks for the input guys, To be honest in my Who tribute band I almost never use the Moog anymore. Songs like You better you bet, Goin mobile and Bargain I use some square wave but thats about it. On the Quadraphenia CD Pete Townsend used an ARP for that analog brass and a string synth sound a lot neither of which the Moog makes very well. I figure the A6 might fit the bill a little better. Besides my Fusion and my k2000 do some fairly good Moog emulations to be honest. Shit, this is a hard decision :frown:
