Can anyone help me on this ?? I downloaded some patches but I do not know how to transfer them. It says that the midi usb driver is already installed but I cant find a place to drop the sound so it transfers to the keyboard.. Plz help.
Thx!

What i did was saving them into my compact flash, and load it from there. I didn't have a sucessful attempt on hooking up the USB cable from triton to PC.

This is logical, because the triton (and most USB keyboards I've seen) don't use a filesystem that is recognised by a computer, so you won't be able to transfer files between them, even when the keyboard is a USB-child.
In my Yamaha MO8 manual it specifically tells you that you need to first transfer files to either an external usb disk or a flash disk, and THEN to the MO8, working as a USB-parent (like the computer).

As already said you cannot transfer data directly to the TEx. You have to save it to the Compact Flash card first and load it into the TEx from there.
This can be done either external (as mentioned before), but can be done hooking up the TEx (with inserted CF-card of course) via USB.
This is how it works (assuming the USB driver is installed as you mentioned):
You need to USB-connect the computer and the TEx, then go to the "Media" section of the TEx, select the "Utility" folder and activate the "USB Storage Mode" (which is the last option in the menu on the top right). After it is activated, the TEx will be recognised by your computer as an external storage medium, so you can transfer the data back and forth.
Cheers,
Markus
