motif and S90 is out of question because i want the graded keys :P

Does the XS has the same keyboard as the cp300?

no, motif has ballanced hammer, and cp300 has graded hammer effect, and graded keys are very important to me

IMO bad combo. You will pay like 1.5 times more, just to have the action.
cp300 will be a bad controller, and Yamaha ES is complicated enough, even if you have the keyboard version!

If you really need graded hammer action, take some kind of a midi-controller. It will be much easier.
But I would just take keyboard version of motif xs, and learn how to play with it. It doesn't really matter: graded, balanced, progressive - if the quality is good, you will like it and and will be able to play everything.
