Shure E2c - yes or no for me?

So, I've been thinking...You know, how we (keyboardists) always don't get enough luck of monitoring correctly, especially if we also sing background vocals? I've been thinking of buying a Shure E2c for this purpose, and now I want your opinion - is there a better solution for me, an amateur keyboardist in two bands, with a serious dedication for music? Or there will be monitoring guys that will just not give a tiny rat's ass about my monitoring and will not be willing to give me a line to my headphones instead to a regular monitor?
