When did Kurzweil start to include both Contemporary and Orchestral rom, when buying a K2600X? I'm buying a kurz that was bought in 2002.

Thanks

Then I just have to buy them separate... But are they necessary?

useful, but not mandatory. I've a base K2500R and is enough for my needs.

Ok, thanks. But when did they start to include the RMB-26?

The RMB-26 is needed, when you want to install any of the ROM-Boards, so the shipping with the RMB-26 startet including the Orchestral- and the Contemporary-ROM, without them, it's pritty useless.

Ok, so it was included when they started to include the two roms? If it was included in 2002, or before, I don't need to buy it if I'm going to buy the expansion roms.

There's another way to check, if the ROMs are in the K2600 installed:

Look, which Samples are available:
- 800 - 899 : Contemporary Board is installed
- 900 - 999 : Orchestral Board is installed

If there were no ROMs includet in 2002, it's very unlikely, that the RMB-26 was installed... this wouldn't make sense.

Then I probably have to buy both Orchestral and Contemporary Boards, as well as the RMB-26. Is it worth the money?
