Well one of the most hard things to notice about dt are the easter eggs hidden throughout albums, their artwork, lyrics or names.

I noted that the first song is exactly 9minutes long, and this is the ninth studio album.

Ok.
The inside of the cover has the picture with the picnic. On the spread is a glass with an ear in it. The ear of course is meant to reffer to the liquid being tea (similar letters) and not lemonade, as one would presume. The lemons signify that something is "mixed up" because it is not lemonade, it is tea, which, if taken to be the word "tea" we can then change it (mix it up) to the word "eat."

In the Octavarium-esque picture we see the majesty symbol "m" being hung by a length of cable or wire which, when combined with the hanging objects, makes a "y" shape, therefore the word "my" appears.

In the picture with the ant and the magnifying glass the word "seen" is in the glass, or, more specifically, "see." As we already know, things are mixed up so the "see" is actually upside-down and the numbers of each letter reversed. The "e" when upside down is of course an "a" so the word becomes "ass." Also in the magnifying glass are two "segments" of the ant, which look, very uncoincidentally, like "balls." Therefore we can say in the picture that there is an "ass" and "balls."

Put all together being read through the pages backwards (because of the mixed-up-ness) is reads: Eat my ass and balls.

I think that this is probably the best "Easter Eggs" crap I've ever seen on any of the albums. It obviously makes the most sense....I love it.

It sort of makes sense in a nonsensical way when you consider the video that was posted a while back, where they were recording the chants for Prophets of War. In addition to the actual lyrics, MP had the group do a take of "ass and balls"...

..That and the hidden morse code of eat my ass and balls in "In The Name Of God" and the eat my ass and balls chant during the Canadian Rap they played live, and MP substituting eat my ass and balls in backup vocals during the 6DOIT tour during War Inside My Head in place of "saying things never said" and Burning My Soul instead of saying "burning my soul" in the chorus, and SFAM tour in Fatal Tragedy instead of "there can be no turning back", and singing eat my ass and balls in place of "take me as i asm" in As I Am on the last chorus during the Octavarium tour.....

phew, did I miss any?

Gustavo, I don't smoke, I rock.

And yeah, speedy fingers, it was a joke.

~Premetheus

P.S. Gustavo, I'm not offended. I meant it not in a "I rock because I don't smoke" way, but instead a "Instead of getting high by smoking, I get high by rockin'!" way.

If you put your CD into a CD player at bearing 256 degrees True then play Forsaken the chants are replaced by the 'ass and balls' take. Similarly if you face 256 degrees True with an Ipod and then play Forsaken it also works.
