Alright, in the third section of Full Circle in Octavarium, the main part where the animation is based upon for reference, with the mallet sound, how do you finger the arpeggios? I have the rising melody, but the strange arpeggios that go down are very very hard to do, since you have the G in 7 notes, B to B, then down a semitone but only 6 notes, then up to another key for 8 notes then down again for 7 notes, it's very ahrd for me to finger that at that speed.
How is it fingered? I can't get my head around it.
Also, are the bass notes in the choir section there for the last 4 chords in quick succession D G# C# G? They sound out of key.

Can you use both hands? I can't remember exactly, but isn't that section just one "hand"?

I've tried, and there's something about it that stops me playing it fluently, it's a very simple passage in terms of notation, but structure and invtervals its freakishly bizarre

Of course it's not a one handed passage. Anyway, I'm not crazy enough to try it one handed :O
If I can remember well, I use this, but it could very well be wrong;
R5-4-2-1 L1-2-4
R5-3-2-1 L1-2
R5-4-3-1 L1-2-4
R5-4-2-1 L1-2-4-5

Thanks, I'll give that a shot, and if I find any easier way to do it I'll post.
I'm learning the whole bloodthing, not many have done that, just the main solo, which to me is dissapointing... youtube needs a video of it ;)

Disappointing? I clap my hands to whoever can play the whole solo smoothly.
