Ok, so my old ones broke this week because my sisters dog chewed it apart (stupid dog), so I figured I'd better get some new ones because I listen to music through my mp3 player many hours a day. I just don't know what ones to get.

All I know is that I want headphones that can give me good sound, very important that it protects from outside disturbances, and that it is comfortable (ones that don't get too warm) and ones that are not too damn expensive, something reasonably priced. And if possible I'd like to keep away from those with active noise reduction that needs batteries (I would turn into a madman if I had to keep batteries for both the mp3 AND heaphones in check).

Hope someones got some more knowledge than me in this department.

How about a set of Shure e2 in-ear headphones? I believe they're actually designed for use as stage monitors, but they sound rather nice, are very comfortable, and block out, or at the very least reduce outside noise to great effect.
