Correct me if I'm wrong.. Cause I'm not sure, but I think it was just a bit after Scenes from a Memory (or before..? :tongue: ) What I can hear of the piano sound it was before. But I rember reading something that this was after SFAM.

pretty song indeed.

i might be wrong, but i think Derek wrote this one mainly. Maybe for similar reasons why Dream Theater doesn't really play Space Dye Vest (it being mainly Kevin's song), they won't play Eve. I could be totally wrong though. The song actually sounds like it could almost be a LTE song. I liked it.

I don't have The Silent Man single cd. But...Eve is the bonus cd of Awake!! (only in Japan:confused: )

This song was written during I&W world tour. Previous to songwriting session for Awake.


i might be wrong, but i think Derek wrote this one mainly.

Kevin Moore conducted that time and wrote this mainly.



But...Eve is the bonus cd of Awake!! (only in Japan:confused: )

That bonus CD is only included with Japanese first edition.
I guess it's better to keep it to yourself.

If I remember correctly, MP says something in the commentary on the 5YIALT DVD about how Eve is one of the most beautiful and underrated DT songs.

I could be wrong. I'll check later.

They used to play it live pretty often with Derek - I'm sure they've played it live with Jordan as well, but obviously not regularly any longer.
