Fantom X8.... switching sounds

Hi!

I have a quick question...
Is it possible to create a setup on the Fantom X8, so you could step on a pedal to change sounds in the middle of a song? Is this a feature that works on many keyboards?
Which keyboards has got this function?

I've not tried one yet myself, but most higher-end keyboards allow this facility, so I would be very surprised if it's missing from the Fantom X... certainly it's possible with the VR760, as well as Korgs, E-MU's, Kurz's etc...

Yes, you can program the control pedal to do PROG-UP, PROG-DOWN, FAV-UP or FAV-DOWN... see the section in the manual entitled "Using A Pedal To Modify The Sound (Control Pedal)" (at least that's the title of the section in the Fantom-S manual).
