Silly and simple question, just feeling curious about this.
Have they all achieved a point in their carriers that don't need to have regular jobs to earn a living?
Well I guess I'm pretty sure that they don't, but maybe owners of a business that don't demand their presence the whole time?
Or is it music 24/7 ?
*Dream more on* Just trying to picture myself in about 15 years from now! *Dream Mode off*

 Well, Jordan USED to work for Kurzweil and even KORG back in the day hehe... He was with Kurzweil while he was in DT, but worked for KORG much before than during his earlier keyboard world years...

Yep. i wonder if he still owns a wavestation, not that he needs it with an oasys or korg's legacy, but for history sakes, if i recall he did a factory demo for it

DT is their work.....
DT is a company and the members are employees together with management and so on.
On a side there is a solo career with solo gigs, masterclasses and cd's which will create an income.
DT is big enough to earn a sufficient income I guess....

John petrucci is a part time bear, and jordan rudess's day job is keeping the earth rotating and the planets in balance by playing insane keyboard riffs. so i've heard.....

john Myung participates on the UFC and K1 under the name "The Silent Death" he's undefeated and about to become champion.
James LaBrie got a gig as a Fabio (yes the guy on the cover of women's novels) double, if fabio has a event to attend and dosen't wanna go he'll send james, although james keeps it very low profile and only takes jobs overseas.
portnoy.........
im not really sure i tought he was the part time bear.

Mike, John and John last period they had daily jobs was before I&W. JLB doesn't have a job outside DT either but Jordan seems to do a lot for keyboard companies...

Jordan does a lot more than DT, his solo stuff, promotional work, such as equipment and so on, and he's well in depth involved with Roland.

It must be awesome to live (and live nice) of what you love doing the most, I guess is what most of us aim for.

I'd love to read more about this thread but I must get ready to not be late for my taxi cab driving tonight. After that I need to make the donuts.
