Hey everybody - here's a piece of raw video, shot 5 minutes ago on my pocket camera, of Jordan playing his brand-new, just-unpacked Memotron! (http://www.otownmedia.com/JR_Memotron.MPG)

Thanks Richard !
I guess, if one day Jordan and you make a new "Space Jam", that the Memotron might be on the gear list... :D

Wow, this a very interesting piece of equipment. I'm looking forward to seeing how Jordan uses this to create new sonic textures.

Wow those sounds were amazing, can't wait for July 27th, Gibson Amphitheater.
Nice to see the progression of Jordan's beard!

It's a digital emulation of the original Mellotron sounds - more reliable, more robust, and IMO, better looking, too.
I wonder how it differs from the mellotron samples on the Korg Vintage Archives Expansion board?

I catch a Polyevolver Keyboard under the Memotron :) A great toy to play with.

I'm trying to work out how much this would cost... There is a distributor here in Australia, and this is something I would seriously consider buying... I have been looking into a Mellotron for along time, but alot of issues keep getting in the way... Anyway...
My question is this, for any europeans here:
The price is listed at "1990,00 EUR".
Please tell me that comma is meant as a decimal point... Please!
If it's really "One hundred and ninety-nine thousand Euros", no way. I'm assuming it really means "One thousand, nine-hundred and ninety". In which case, I'll definitely look into purchasing one. Someone help me out here!

Yep, its a decimal "point", for some reason the euros use it instead of a point.
so its one thousand ninehundred ninty euros

Thankyou, that's one of the places I will be dealing with when I end up purchasing one. I just wasn't sure about the decimal point in the EUR price, and I wanted to convert it properly.
Looks like i'll have to spend a bit fixing my car first anyway... damn.
