Hi guys!

Here are some videos of our band, The Flanger, playing at Nosturi last Friday and at Gloria on the 31st of March. I hope you'll enjoy them! Nosturi was a fantastic venue and it would've been great to play more songs (we played Locked, Universal Mind and Heal Me). We're working on some new songs which we are hoping to compile as an album this summer. We have two previous releases: Locked and The Mute Sides of the Mind and you can check out those songs from our homepage and MySpace.

Looking back at our performances I feel that we still have so much to prove on but I'm also confident that we will. I think we've got a great thing going on with the guys and I hope you'll share your thoughts on the vids and the fresh material once we'll get it worked up. Your posts are greatly appreciated!

Prog on, ya'll!

Very kool music.
The singer is not a kind of my favorite... But in general, they're cool.
The bassist gave no bothering tone. Saku played in correct tempo.... Awesome!!

Thanks for watching and commenting, guys! I'll edit the footage of us playing Biaxident once I get the tape from Jussi. I'll be sure to attach the link when it's up and running.

Yeah I do play off tempo sometimes but I think I've done that because I've felt on stage that the tempo has been too fast or slow. I know it's not on my lot to keep the tempo and actually it really doesn't serve the music if I try to. OR I've just screwed up! But anyway I've acknowledged this and have been trying to rely on the drummer more (as every band member should).

@ Krahn: Thanks! I've gotten a little more into the WWoS (Wonderful World of Synthesizers ..of course) and I've got great possibilities with the Kurz. I'll have to invest some more time in it to reach it's full potential though.

I'm so exited about our new stuff that I haven't slept very well for the couple last nights. The good ideas tend to come when you're lying in bed thinking. It'll be really cool to freshen up our live act with new songs and work on them with Tuokki (vocals) as a full-time member.

I must say that I am very impressed with all of you guys. LTE has always been my favorite and it was awesome seeing you guys have so much fun with Universal Mind.

Saku, are you a member of the Conservatory, because you sound REALLY good up there.

Hey Saku, I want to say once again. You are a great keyboardist. Yeah, I mean it!!
Anyway keep it going, and I hope your band succeeds as a professional prog band in the near future.

Thanks for all the support, guys. It means a lot!

@ Bipabew: Are you talking about the OC? If so, then I'm not. It does seem really cool though.

Here's a little add to the thread's video section: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKTCn3ZoXCg

The mix isn't the most keyboard friendly and Ossi had some problems with his gear but I think you can get something out of it!

Hell Yeeahhh!!
My favorite LTE song!
Jussi looked so fun! and Ossi expressed bright tone!
Key volume were bigger, it could be better.... too bad!
I wanna hear more keyboards!!

I was talking about the OC. I've been a member for a little over a year now and my playing has improved dramatically.

Thanks for the great video again!!
While playing, all of you always look calm and confident, so I feel relaxed and watch you.
oh, btw....I hear Ossi was nominated as the best guitar player at the Emergenza Finnish finals. Congratulations on his honor. I think he well deserves praise.
