Hopefully vocals will give over to instruments, and the talent reality shows will hand over to guitarists and keyboardists and bassists. Thatd be pretty sweet.

This year in Norway, they encourage the participants to bring their instrument too, if they have one. However they may at any time ask the person to put the instrument down and just sing.

Ari Koivunen must be the best thing that has ever happened to the Finnish Idols. I saw him perform live at the 5th final (You Break My Heart, Sielut Iskee Tulta) and it was awesome!

I'm really looking forward to hearing his album. He's got some pretty big names on the list of the songwriters like Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish), Janne Warman (Children of Bodom), Tommi Putansuu (Lordi.. doesn't really move me though)

Edit: Oh yeah! Toni Kakko from Sonata Arctica and Timo Tolkki + Kotipelto from Stratovarius have also written music for him!
