How can I delete every single setup that's in PC88mx, even all those factory setups? I want to have 128 clear places...

Press the Global button, and use the right arrow under the screen to page all the way to the end and look for "Reset PC88". Resetting it will clear out all of the memory.

Can you over-write the existing Setups with new ones?
Q- Why do you want to erase all the setups?
Can't you store a default setup in those banks in question?
(I have a k2500xs and have no experience with the PC88mx)

With my Kurzweil you can save over existing programs, setups, fxpresets, studios...and the rom objects can reappear when you delete your replacement file(s). Neat eh?

Do you mean the internal-Sound-Setups or the MIDI-Setups?
The 128 MIDI-Setups can be deleted, edited or overwritten. But I think, you canīt do this with the existing internal Setups. My PC88 is in our Band-Room, so I canīt try this out...sorry!

Indeed... I honestly can't see why the inability to delete the factory presets would be such a problem! You don't delete them, you just overwrite them (with a defaulted / blank preset if necessary) - that's what I do with my E-MU's anyway, works fine. But for some reason St0rMl0rD is getting rather stressed about it :?

sorry bout that fellas..but it is kinda beeeeeeeee...i want to overwrite the setup 1, A Piano Trio by deleting second and third zone, and applying a different program, Tight E Grand to first one, and keyrange it accross the keyboard...but still, when I save it, the original sound remains...:?

i did it! i managed to overwrite them..somehow ;) now a question...or merely a request for PC88mx users: what sounds do you prefer combining for Concerto Grand? I have Tight E Grand and vTight E Grand, plus a Grand Piano from GM sounds... :)
