Follow this link and i will show you something I have made. It`s my new Key stand wich is turnable and made from Alutruss. It`s very leight weight (a little more then 12kg!) and built for all Keyboards. I`m very impressed of Jordan Rudess`s but his stand is to strong and nothing for touring with the Band. Sorry Jordan, but you have enough people who carry this...
Best regards
Dan

Sorry man, but JR havn`t the same. Mine is made of Aluminium- truss, himselfs is made of steel. So it more stronger then the alu- truss, isn`t it?
It looks like Jr`s, thats right. But the pruducing costs of the alu- stand are very slight. So it will cost 130-160EUR if you build it yourselfe and it is very easy to build. It will take a while of 5 hours and it works great!
Sorry man if I have takled you with this thread but that isn`t it what I want to do.
I wanted to show you that you can build your own stand easy and it looks like JR`s.
Have a nica day and practise, practise, practise!!! :-)
Best regards

I'd really like a stand wich is solid and really stands still while I play.. If it's turnable or not is not a problem... Thats just funny :D

how lightweight is it? is it sturdy at all? im interested in how exactly you made it btw....
Hi Daniel,
perhaps it's a bit different, but the idea and principle is the same as Jordans stand ;-) I don't think it hold much more, but you're right that it might be easier to carry around.
8) Now this is really the same (like his old one): http://www.7amplified.de/fotos/2004-05-01_a/pages/PICT0092.html

The stand weights 26,4 lbs and it`s very sturdy! You need an aluminium- truss (ebay), an aluminium- board, an alu- cylinder (d= 24cm), and a plastic cylinder. Finally you need the tools for building the stand.
If you haven`t the time for building,... ask me. ;-)
look on my page for my e-mail and I will help you, friend.
