Yes, if I remember well the expression mate needs only a midi port. Kurzweil now produces only the ribbon but it has a different jack, like the telephone one, so it can be linked only to Kurzweil instruments like PC2 or K2661!

That's correct.
Kurzweil do not produce the Expression Mate anymore. They don't because Kurzweil is not the only manufacture which produces such ribbons anymore. You may find one on Ebay though.
You can order a K2661 or the PC2 with a ribbon, but that's ONLY the ribbon without all the other stuf that came with the Expression Mate. (You can get all info about it at www-kurzweilmusicsystems.com .) Furthermore, this optional ribbon is, like Atreus said, only for Kurzweil instruments.

I've seen the one on eBay, and there it says it has this extra box... Does the one at eBay, with the box, fit all keyboards with midi-port?

Well, there are really no other manufactures which sell ribbons. Kurzweil developed the Expression Mate, so that everyone can use it with every MIDI keyboard, but since many other (newer) keyboards already have a ribbon, they don't produce it anymore.
Even the Korg Trinity had a very small one below the joystick I think - with less functions, but it was actually something similar.

Let me put some thing straight. The expresisonmate CAN be used on other keyboards. A while ago, someone posted a picture of his triton studio, with the expression mate. Secondly, that ''box'' is ALWAYS included. It can't live without, because that box sends the midi message.

You won't find it in any music stores in any country, probably... Kurzweil don't make it any more. Your best bet is to keep an eye out on Ebay for one.
