sounds very good - Nice Trinity by the way. A suggestion would be to have a musical backing - It's nice to hear what context the solo is in as well :)

Keep rockin!

Hmmm...Maybe a different tone. I was never a fan of the monster lead and its derivatives.

Nice playing!

I really miss some vibrato on the longer notes, though!

Good stuff :) The only thing I wasn't too fond of was how the guitar tapping type part (about 18 seconds into it) kept going instead of changing up a little bit. Other than that little detail though I really liked it. Nice clean playing on that last run too.

Gotta love those phrygian major licks. 8)

edit: One suggestion I have is to maybe bend up to notes instead of taking the pitch bender down and then coming up to the note (especially since you had it set to an octave). Try bending up to the first note and the note that you hold at about 6 seconds into it...see if you like that.

Nice playing,

As others have said would be good to hear your soloing over music.
you should post some info about yourself, how long you been playing, etc.

:D

If you want to record that again over a backing track, I made a little something for you that you can use if you like. I got your solo lined up with it and played them both at once and it sounds kinda neat.

so just some infos about me:

i'm 15 years old and play keyboard for nine years now... i spent seven years with these fucked up entertainment keyboarding ;)... it was in march 2001 i guess, when i started to hear and play to DT music... well this was because of my brother's band covering some DT stuff... overture 1928 and strange dejavu! i always thought that these synth solos were guitarsolos, but wow! as i saw the scenes from a memory video my life changed ;)... so i started to learn this song... and well... i got a bit more easy version of the synth solos, but it worked out for me! ;)

15 years old ... with 7 years playing under your belt already. Keep it going, get yourself into listening to all the different music styles out there, jazz, fusion etc, it really helps broaden your keyboard playing and musical ideas. It certainly helped me out when I was your age....ooh I sound old... :(

Yikes, ancient thread! Strangely enough, I remember that solo even though it was over a year ago. Nice backing with it...is that a clip from your band? Post more, I liked it. :)

Guys, check his post right above my last one...he posted an updated version. The original link won't work as the thread is over a year old and the file has probably been down for months now.
