Nicely done, JR. That's one less fan for you.

Cool pics, though.

Thats funny. Me and my band had a myspace that was www.myspace.com/jordanrudess like two weeks ago... We couldnt think of what to call it so I just made it jordanrudess. We took it down and made a new one though because it was more sarcastic than serious.

Wow, this is hard; I have to balance my utter disdain for everything related to myspace with my appreciation of JR and his music.

Since being a snob benefits no one, and since being on myspace should introduce a lot of new people to JR and DT, I wish them all the best with the new myspace pages. Only please do continue to keep JR.com as a good source of up to date information; it would be a pity to have to visit myspace to get important news.

Grow up, people. Myspace is a phenomenally successful marketting tool that's doing great things to get music out to millions of people who wouldn't have otherwise heard it. Yes, Myspace pages look crap (pretty much universally) but their function is excellent, and there is no denying that it is part of the future of the internet. Call it Web 2.0 or whatever you want, this form of interactive site is the way the internet is going. You either keep up with it all, or get left in the wake.

i agree. i believe myspace is a beautiful thing these days. i have found so much great music simply by looking at the top friends pages of my favorite musicians. I found a really sweet side project that King Crimson's Drummer, Pat Mastelotto has put together called Tuner. They have some really cool stuff. I've heard Trey Gunn's solos stuff which is rockin. I've also discovered Azam Ali and Regina Spektor thanks to Myspace. And i consider those two a really good find! Like i found diamonds in a big gave in the ground.

It's another great way to interact with fans and to discover new music. And what's crazy about it is that it has always been and probably will remain 100% free!

PLUS: ever since i joined myspace, countless really hot chicas want to be friends with me! every day i'm flooded with private messages and friend requests from these random women. myspace has made me a pimp.
