Hi, I own a Sumo 300 and I absolutely, 100% HAAATE it.... thank you.
All I can say is that I was desperate when I bught mine, so I didn't gave importance to the negative aspects, now I regret every cent I spent on that crap.
Problem is the sound, you will NEVER EVER, be able to EQ it properly, not even the flat settings sound flat, there is always this horrible "ringing highs" problem, besides that, the bass is too boomy, not defined and clear.
Another Sumo 300 user, might have guessed correctly what the problem can be on a review he wrote. On it, he said the Sumo probably had a very bad crossover design, I guess I stand beside him.
Believe me, all the attractive features it has, is not worth the horrible sound it produces. I still have mine for unknow reasons...
But again, better try the Sumo 100 yourselve cause the sound may vary from model to model....

I just recently bought a Laney AH100 keyboard amp, primarily because they are very, very cheap but aren't Behringers. And I'm very pleasantly surprised by it. Fairly lightweight, but ruggedly made, sounds really good, and the kickback design is fantastic. I paid £140 ($270) for it. They make a bigger one, the AH200, with more features. I'm a big fan of Laney, I use their all-valve guitar amps as well.

I have the Sumo 100. When I first got it I didn't like it at all. I played a K2600, a Fusion, a QS6.2, and an S90ES through it and it ruined the sound of every keyboard. Everything sounded like a cheap Casio or something. I've never gigged with it so I can't tell you, but it seems loud. I still have it as I don't have the money for a better amp. I only use it to show people a quick riff here and there. I always practice with headphones though. I'd say save up for one of the Roland or Peavey amps, they preserve the sound of the keyboard. The features on the Sumo are terrible anyways.

thanks for the replies guys, you're not going to belive this but i really didnt like the roland, i've tried it with a K2661 and hated the sound, i've yet to tried the behringer k3000fx or the kb3, the good part is that i could try them with a triton extreme, so i can just bring a CF card load a Seq and get a objctive sound response, im not a fan of behringer or peavey but if it sounds good i think i can get a deal too bad for the alesis sumos, there very easy to handle with the wheels & handle,

Y'know, if I ever have need for an amp, i'd get myself a Behringer, and a Laney.
That way, I can use the Behringer as a doorstop :P
