It's been a bit overshadowed with the awesome news of Roadrunner Records and DT's new album, but I for one can't wait for this. Check out the tracklist.

They always manage to fuck these things up, so I would have to hear it before I would ever spend money on it. Which is too bad, because the IDEA is great (I was really excited to hear the Tool one which had a lot of potential but was pretty lame in reality), but they never pull it off. They always arbitrarily change the melodies or put on crappy sounding effects (the only processing you should be putting on strings typically is maybe some tasteful phasing and/or delay, possibly some warm tube saturation (full distortion typically sounds like crap on acoustic instruments), and of course reverb (natural room sound is better).

The Dark Side of the Moon one was the only one that I've heard that is damn good. Mind you, it was the only one I heard that was just one string quartet playing 100% live. The rest think programming is a good idea (the brass on the orchestral version of Piece of Mind sounds just silly...)
Have to wait and see. (Or listen as the case may be)

I've got the tributes to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Beatles and both of those are pretty good. There is a little difference every know and then melody-wise, but I like the albums overall.
