Pedrokey,

I listened to the MP3 links, excellent work, your piano technique is quite impressive, you really have a heavy Jordan & DT influence, but fantastic playing on keys, and your band is pretty darn good too.

It sounds really H2O-ish and Cairo-ish!
Have you heard of these 2 bands?
Good stuff by the way!
This piano is Roland :P
I'm sure!

I'm glad you liked it... what you listen is not a band, it is me... I composed the music and then I searched for musicians who could play that style, but then we had many problems, they couldn't record anything, except the guitarrist, so I had to record all the instruments with the synthesizer in real time. It was a dificult job.

I was kidding about the piano part, I always thought that my old Rs-9 piano were cheap, but yours is a wayyyyyyyyy better!

H2O is an italian band ( I think ) that sounds very Genesis, but with some of their own spice throw in! It's quite good, and quite similar to your first track!

Cairo is another band with that sounding I think they're from Magna Carta, so they sound like all others from MC!

Two good bands BTW! :)

Very, very cool. Especially the piano playing at the beginning, WOW! A really cool well written progressive piece. awesome. It was also fun picking out all the alesis presets I am familiar with, heh. Id try to get some real drums going though, its the only thing that brings this down. You are very, very talented though.

:D Thanks! ... Btw, I was thinking in find some musicians in any part of the world who like this proyect for record it with real instruments... I will find the record sesions and I can send it to the musician interested in record. I already contacted a good bass player who live in spain, I'm wating for his answer.... What do you think? .. and I'm composing more...
Maybe it can be a world band.... hehe...

I know here are many talented musicians and music students!. I don't have an internet conection in my house, so right now I can't listen to the others songs in this new section of the forum... :(

Wow! I liked those songs alot - they're fantastic.

I would be willing to play drums for you, if you like. I don't exactly have great recording facilites, though...so I guess that makes my offer less tempting.

Who played guitar on these tracks? Becuase I can play guitar as well.

Anyway, let me know....I'm in Canada, but I'm not sure where you're from.

Reply here or email me at b-beasley@excite.com.

...if compared to the cheesy Alesis soundset piano...no match with a Kurzweil Triple Strike or a Roland Fantom one (OMGOMGOMG I love that colour lcd interface and I'd spend YEARS lifting up and down the tail).
Deceit.

yah but this an alesis. Most people cant afford really expensive (k26withendless00000's) gear or rather have multiple synths than sticking to the characteristics of 1 single instrument.
ATM i did some research about the Alesis Qs series and so far it is convincing me to find one second-hand. If that pianosound is without expansioncard (or with one but avaiable at a cheap price) then Im almost positive it'll do great in 88weighted key version, as a midi controller and as a digital piano. And from what I've heard, the synthsounds are exactly what Im looking for.

Once I get doubling the synth with another one I might get some awsome leads (using the Alesis as a 'remote' to another synth via midi, both having a selfprogrammed leadpatch wich combine to 1 cool leadsound).
