I found my self getting more and more fun listening leads. And I thought it would be nice to learn one. I don't know if someone has recomendations or PDF's with leads I can start with. I have done 5 years of classical music training. So I'm not totally unexpierienced

If someone has ideas or PDF's let me know !

Thanks in advance

by leads you mean like solos, right? well bobbykunkle put up the pdf to Octavarium in the midi/tab/sheetmusic page, so you could always learn the full circle solo, thats a lot of fun to play. But for keyboard parts there arn't many pdf's out there, try getting a midi program like sibelius (the one I use, trial version has no time limit) to veiw midis which you can get around the place. I can't remember where I got most of my midis from but BLobVandamn http://blobvandam.webpal.info/midi.html has a quite a few really good midis, some of my favs are: the home synth solo, sacrificed sons and the glass prison intro solo (cause its relatively easy:biggrin: )

...or get the Keyboard Anthology book. There are some leads/solos from every album, some easy, some very hard to play. AND Jordan put the right fingerings on there so you can make sure you play it the right way (like Jordan).

If you don't know any songs I can suggest:

Overture 1928
Blind faith
Take the time
Glass prison
Octavarium big solo on 12.05( I love it I always end up playing that one when I jam)
Endless sacrifice
This dying soul

But I don't think the last two are availble

Also check some Liquid Tension Experiment:
Universal mind
Paradigm shift
When the water breaks
And since you have a classical background and if you get sick of the leads check biaxadent or the big solo's which have been complety translated into Midi files

Btw get yourself a midi program like cakewalk , cubase or something like that cause the people who translate the music always post it in midi files.

Enjoy

Well, about time you learn the rest 85% then?!:D Just keep up practicing the keyboard anthology.. start the hard parts in low tempo and then increase it, that is what I would have done!
