well poo. I guess I missed the first thread. The OB12 should have definitely been a contendor.

Out of what's there though, I would pick the Andromeda.

But I think the EX5 looks a lot better than the S90ES.

You realise you've set up the poll as a type where you can vote for more than one synth simultaneously? Seems a bit Irish to me...

Is it considered biased if I vote for one that I own ? :)

(I cast a vote for the JD-800...All admittedly several others look beautiful too ) :)

Nothing looks better than a red sportscar, a red dress (on a woman) or a red keyboard.....:)

Well, because the idea of a poll (at least, in the sense that I understand what you've put out here), is so that everyone can vote for their best-looking synth. With the check boxes, it means that you can vote for four or five, if you wanted to.

:P

I voted for the Andromeda.

And the nord.

And the Evolver.

And the moog.

And the VTi

:S

well, nobody likes only one girl, much less one synth

Who decided on the WHITE Virus TI? That's probably the least good looking Virus I've ever seen. I'm sensing a set-up to make sure Access doesn't win!

You're kidding, right? That was an easy 2nd place for me... looks far nicer than the other Viruses IMO (not that I had anything to do with the decision and it's still a long way behind the S90ES in looks).

This is just wrong....the mini moog isn't "modern" even if it is the 50th anniversary edition with blue lights and midi, blah, blah, blah....and it's still as ugly as it ever was....this is a BEAUTY pageant...we're not looking for the one with good "Personality" or "Miss Congeniality"....we want big knobs and a nice osc. :) ....come on voters....!!

That would be me Sir, based on the opinions of the forumers that nominated them on the pre poll that was running all last week.

Sorry but the "Polar" virus imho was the best looking

Funny thing is, the Voyager has the biggest knobs out of all those synths. ;)

I had to cast my vote for the K2500AES, simply because it looks like the classiest of all of them. There's a lot of attempts to look "ballsy" and "eXtreeeeeeeme" out there these days, and I for one like a little class. You know, a nicely polished look. The Kurzweil, in my opinion, does that much better than the others. Especially given that it's got a technical monster inside of it waiting to be unleased, only with a nice champagne-colored slightly minimalist face to it. It's like you bring it into the gig, and everyone says "awwwww... it looks very refined and classed-out." And then they hear what it can do. And then they go change their pants.

Ha That's great !
I'm going to have to post some pics of mine on stage.
Most of what I have is from the front of the stage, so all you can see is this big rectangle with the word ROLAND :) LOL !

Hm, well.. I´m still surprised the S90ES hasn´t got more votes, that one was my only vote( it is also enough with one girl for me:P)

I voted for the Voyager only, and as I could see afterwards, the Moog leads the poll... Actually, this wasn't a surprise, but it's a pitty that the poll consists of checkboxes and not of radio buttons, because now you don't know who voted for the Moog AND for other synths, too.
